If you've ever driven a car with an oil temp gauge it's pretty surprising how long it takes for the oil to reach operating temp. I used to sell Audis (which have them) and it the winter the coolant temp can be nearly at normal operating temp while the oil will just be starting to move a little on the gauge. At 60 degrees it's a lot less critical but ewasy does it is the opertive word until everything is up to snuff.
