Couldn't agree more. I remember crawling underneath the Town & Contry to do the first oil change (at about 3K miles on the car) and was surprised to see most of the front suspension parts completely covered in surface rust (A arms, tie rods, etc.). I called Chrysler customer service and some drone reading from a script sheet told me "the surface rust on the suspension components has no impact on the structural integrity of your vehicle". I mean how cheap can you be not to even paint the suspension components of a vehicle to keep them from rusting out. So, I had owned this vehicle for only a few months and decided right then it would be my first and last Chrysler vehicle. It will be interesting to see what, if anything, Fiat can do to save Chrysler. I could tell you some great stories about a couple of Fiats I owned.... there was a reason they stopped selling cars in the U.S. in the early 80's... supposedly Fiat quality has improved greatly since then but I don't plan on personally testing that claim.
