We have a 4x8x2 box trailer acquired when we moved, works well with a 9000. Made something like 20 350 mile round trips hauling about everything the wife and I could get into it.
Only use it a few times a year since things at the new house have settled down. A S10 size pickup might be handy, but the trailer costs only $10 for license every year.
Here and where I worked pickups are red neck utility vehicles, seldom used to haul anything other than a cooler full of beer. If they need to haul anything they get a trailer.
