Funny you should mention power windows Posted by SWEDECAR [Email] (#112) [Profile/Gallery] (more from SWEDECAR) on Thu, 27 Jan 2011 20:24:14 In Reply to: Re: OK, but what is the Plan B?, Justin VanAbrahams [Profile/Gallery] , Thu, 27 Jan 2011 15:11:34 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
And that they "used to be" unreliable.
I think that is one of my pet peeves on modern cars how extremely unreliable they are and spanning just about every brand/model out there.
It is small plastic sliders breaking on the front ones and complete regulators breaking on the rear or complete wire thingys breaking on the fronts.
The old 900 when they started to use power windows had almost no failures inside the door but you had to clean out the switches sometimes which they the effectively turned into a complete switch pack (still cleanable) which they then redesigned into the 9-5 switch pack not serviceable at all.
