I will give the needle nosed pincer, vice grip and the closed of the 8mm wrench a try when the replacement nipple screw arrives in shipping and I take the wheel off again. I tried the open end of 8mm yesterday, but it wouldn't go on, so perhaps it wasn't stripped enough. LOL.
I took the car for a drive this morning, the brake fades are gone. The stripped one is one of the rear ones, so it probably doesn't contribute to braking much anyway. Does the brake fluid ever really get cycled through the master cylinder, or is each channel pretty much set stuck with whatever new fluid flows into them at replacement until the next bleeding/replacement? The color of all three channels that I did bleed successfully came out quite consistent with each other. I'm starting to wonder that if I can't get the screw off, can I get the fluid refreshed over time by multiple fluid changes like with the automatic transmission? until the next time when the caliper itself gets replaced in a few years.
