Hi! :)
I dunno how to properly translate 'klusha' into English (they all were of that particular type). Or 'dacha' with all the details involved - that they had been spending all the time there and hadn't gone any further then those 6 'sotka's' for all of their life. Also it's not enough just to mention Egypt or Turkey (the nearest and cheapest seasides abroad) - is it about the same as going to Mexico for an american?
w/o all these details the story will look faded and stale: five russki chicks went to e.g. Egypt at the closing time of their ages and were lying on the seashore and a local guy was walking by and tried talking to them. He started with English but those klusha's went 'no-no, we don't understand you'. He tried French and it was all the same: we-do-not-un-der-stand-you. He switched to German, Italian, Greek and even Portuguese - with the same response from that crew. Before leaving them he stooped and knocked his head with his arm (and made pretty wood-like sound) and said: Pinocchio!
The rumor is that all those klusha's went to lingua courses once they got back home.
