FWIW, my local all-GM-brands+SAAB dealership is an embarrassment as well. My first experience with them was when I cancelled the extended service contract on my CTS-V after trading it in... they lost the paperwork and it took almost three months to finally get it cancelled. They continued sending me service reminders about the car, and to each email I replied with a "I don't have this car anymore" and followed the unsubscribe procedure at the bottom of the email. I continue receiving those emails almost two years later. I also get promotional "special sale" emails periodically, usually they come two or three at a time, duplicates of the same message send sometimes on the same day, other times days later. They virtually always contain typos, grammar mistakes, etc.
Every so often I unsubscribe (again) or send an email to the service manager, but I never get any sort of reply and the emails continue. It's extremely unprofessional. I just can't imagine anyone spending $30k+ with these clowns. Part of GM's (and Saab's?) dealer training should be spending a week at a Lexus dealer to see how things are supposed to be done.
