Blue Streak still running last time I was there Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Sun, 16 Jun 2013 14:29:46 In Reply to: Re: Stop at Cedar Point Amusement Park, Charles Michael Murray, Sun, 16 Jun 2013 09:14:02 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
But I haven't been there in 10 or 12 years. We used to go every Father's Day because crowds were always unusually small on that day and wait times would be the shortest. Even the biggest attractions would be walk ons that day.
It is surprising how small the Blue Steak is compared to the monster coasters of today. But even with that small size the negative G's you pull on that second hill make it one of the more interesting rides in the park
Before we stopped going to the park each year I noticed that lots of the 'Family' rides and exhibits had been removed to make more space for the scary 'puke or pee your pants rides' that I don't enjoy - any more.
