Health Insurance Benefits Question

I feel like a selfish brat asking this (I'm tremendously grateful to be gainfully employed at all right out of college and making a decent living), but I'm mainly asking out of pure curiosity. I work for a small(ish) construction consulting company. It provides all of its full time employees with discounted health insurance benefits. They pay a pretty big chunk of it and then take the rest out of the employees' paychecks. Pretty standard. I however, do NOT take advantage of the insurance benefits, because I am still covered by my mother's health insurance. I think it's nuts too, but as long as I don't get married I can be on there until I turn 26, so I'm not complaining.

So my question is... is it appropriate to use this as a negotiation tactic when you're up for review and a salary increase?
