...more fuel efficient SUV. Going from 10mpg to 20mpg makes a big difference. On the other cars bb, I was quite impressed by Tim's experiences with the new MDX - he was shopping hatches and wagons and ended up with MDX for the better performance and fuel economy of all things! I guess they've done a lot to improve those things...
Probably if the Tesla is replacing the SPG, you should compare numbers vs the SPG. It's pretty hard to argue that owning a new car of any sort is going to be cheaper than a c900 (when comparing total purchase and operating costs)... but I think the fuel numbers can still be pretty favourable and I can see why you would want to buy a Tesla.
Maybe you should keep (or should have kept?) the SPG and sold the SUV? ha! there are times a suv is handy, that is for sure, but 10mpg is a pretty hefty price to pay in fuel.
