You're citing a personal (anecdotal) blog (I could write one on blogspot in about 20 minutes saying whatever I want it to say) to make a case that the ignition switch in the 9-5 is somehow related to the widely-covered Cobalt ignition switch and its failure mode?
The blog entry is dated 2011, and doesn't even offer a resolution to their problem. How can anyone say that the failure mode is the same, when the failure mode isn't even identified?
I don't see the connection.
