Never bought a new car, probably never will. I'm just fine without backup cameras,self cleaning windshields,auto trunk lids,auto braking,lane stability,fresh brewed coffee,heated drop down ear muffs, auto this and that. My biggest concern is that I won't be able to replace my current 9 5 if needed, with something of similar, by today's standards, low tech. It's paid for, it's very reliable, I still enjoy driving it, and it still looks good to me. K.I.S.S. works.
