My impression was the solar panels on a supercharger station were to offset the power needs, but they still required grid power?

I can imagine that if (when) we get to a point where many cars are using these stations, the amount of sun on that individual array for the time per car is not nearly enough to charge a car. I thought the premise of this being viable as mostly solar driven comes from having lots of rooftop solar pumped into the grid?
