Thanks for your reply here Peter.

My quest (besides reliable transport recommendations) is for a decent car which is likely to serve me for my remaining few(?) years WITHOUT giving me a backache from driving it.
(Yes - 9000 Aero seating has forever spoiled me.)

Just FYI=> at my age & poor health a drive of ~4 hours will be a huge challenge, even IF after ~90 minutes I wasn't inclined to fall asleep at the wheel (no, it ain't narcolepsy).

That is my main desire in avoiding the travel & I've no means to do that via mass transit of some sort...
So my desire in posting here was for recommendations for trusted transport companies.
Thus far it seems the most positive thoughts are aimed at Montway.

Car choices...
Definitely *NOT* a Subaru as I've come to call those 'backache mobiles' !!

My top choice presently is to locate a good 2008-2011 Nissan Rogue S.

I was blessed to get one cheaply when Mr. Aero went away & in all these months of using the Rogue it has not given me a single backache.

It looks like the Nissan Juke is sort of a smaller version, but finding a trustworthy older one is very unlikely.

Else I remain uncertain given that I'd need a good hands-on test of something like a Toyota or Honda to see if the seating passes my testing.

That is all for now because the Rogue I had hoped to get was from a man who insisted that I travel there & pay cash, so that car got passed over & I'm still looking.
