Thanks, I’m glad you like the old ones. Up to 2000 they used Imola Red, which to my eyes is a great red, like Italian Racing Red from Imola, of course. Show your neighbor the photo of how nice her car will look repainted. After you have driven it for a number of years with bad paint the transformation is amazing. Although the body work isn’t cheap, as you say there isn’t much a Saab lover could get for the money that would be anything like driving one of these. The dogs like riding in the back too and it holds two crates for them. I took this to Carlisle two weeks ago and there were very few 9-5s this old, but i did see an OG 9-3 convertible in great condition also in Imola Red!
