it worked out great for me. I got my MSME from Lehigh on a research fellowship. The MS has helped me greatly in my career.
There are very few times when you can run a control experiment in life. When I first got out I went to work w/Westinghouse. A friend of mine went straight from Lehigh to Westinghouse. We both has a BSME and about the same grades. He had 2 years seniority when I started. About a year after I hired on Westinghouse CTSD fell on hard times. My friend got laied off right away. I had a better position in the company and I held onto my job for another year before the layoffs hit me. This made a great difference on my overall situation as I had a year to look for a job before I had to go.
Stay in school!
Drive Safe,
Joe
