I would advise you to definitely complete your masters - I'm in the middle of my second year and was a 3.0 undergraduate. A year really isn't much time and having a professor willing to employ you really beats being a teaching assistant. In addition, the research you would be doing in injection molding would be immediately applicable to a possible job.
A PhD is an entirely different thing. You shouldn't think about that unless you REALLY want to do it, 5-6 years is a long time.
