Hi,
Saabs have Direct Ignition failures too, but on 9-5 it's the only
problem of any significance.
A couple of days ago, I asked 9-5 board whether any 2002 or 2003 9-5s
had the famous blue-smoke problem. There wasn't ONE report of blue
smoke for the said model years.
So, DI is an infrequent problem on 9-5, and it is the ONLY problem of
any significance.
Coil pack failure is just one of MANY problems on VW 1.8T! :-)
thanks
Jae
