I just keep thinking about the options

There's been a Saab in our driveway since 1984. We've had 7 in all and have four at the moment.
I don't see ever not having one, but there are other cars out there. Because I work out of the house and don't put on a lot of miles, I can see having something that's just plain interesting, but has the right amount of fun and performance. I mean, it has to go fast, right? ;-)
The Jag is one of the more interesting machines available at reasonable prices, and the legendary reliability issues seem to be largely a thing of the past. Where I live, BMWs and Mercs are about as common as Toyotas. I think both are massively over-rated. Have no interest in one.
I like that Jags are less common. One of the things I like about my 203K mile 9000 is that there aren't many around (although there are maybe half a dozen in my town). And probably a similar number of big old Jags. Plus, from what I've read, the Jags like Justin bought aren't as dependent on computers and electronics, which is a real plus in terms of longer term maintenance and servicing.
