It's an '03, and the price was six grand. I looked for two months before finding this one, and to be honest I feel like I got an exceptional deal*. From my looking, the early S/C inline six cars fetch between $4k and $6k, the first couple years of the S/C V8s between $5k and $7k, and the remainder of them between $6k and $12k. This car was the intersection of cheapest, newest, and lowest mileage cars that I found within 1000 miles.
* Of course there is no free lunch, and there's always a reason for an exceptional deal. The car has some needs that I'm sure a top-dollar car would not. But, I am *reasonably* confident that I can address those issues, and once addressed the car will still end up being a bargain. I think I'm going to spend probably two to three grand on this car to make it very close to perfect, and once I'm up to $8k or $9k it'll be a good deal on an '03. The good bit is I get to drive it while I'm getting there, and a few grand over a few months doesn't hurt as much as all at once. ;)
