I wasent trying to complain as much as show what kind of situations tuners are put into while working
I would like to see other tuners as peers more then compedators & it just bums me out a bit when I read really negative posts or hear of them from friends & customers both about myself & my peers
like I was saying people do need to share their expierences with tuners & whatnot because it is important to make sure that someone doing good work can get praise for it while someone not getting er done or poor results gets reviews showing as much
there are people who have put up with my mistakes & every other tuner out there has made mistakes as well......
Ive seen customers put up with the mistakes of other tuners & myself & stay really cool & had customers get really ugly when driver error or problems with the car have caused problems
Ive had several not as severe as Als 9-5 but who just called up & listened to advice to in order in order to reach the root of their problem so they could enjoy their cars trouble free :-)this takes patients & good comunication...... it takes an intention to resolve the issue, on both parties parts
sometime a vender has to know when to find another solution to end the problem in a reasonable time, as there are many factors which arent even a "fault" which can slow things down, geographical & work load come to mind.
resolving issues quickly if possible also keeps negative posts to a minimum & builds trust in the customer base
one time I bought a downpipe from nick & had it sent to a customer because I screwed up a couple of times on the pipe (Eric in CT has been patient with me for sure)
I do think Scotts heart is in th rite place with this site & trying to keep things positive
I really dont think he stops people posting negative results with sponsors,I have seen problems posted here & worked out:-) I just dont think he likes it crossing that line where it just becomes slanderous & negative
I think that is responsible moderation & that allong with the fact that this is where I started when I got into saabs to beginn with keeps me here & only here :-)
I realize this isent directly performance related & could go onto the general board but I thought that performance folks should see this & mabey think about it?
I really do thank you all for taking the time to read all of this & I want to say thanks again for all of your suport here :-) you guys are the best :-)
have a great weekend
