speed signal to 9000 ecu/angle of axles Posted by MTAERO [Email] (#2408) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MTAERO) on Wed, 20 Dec 2006 08:53:06 In Reply to: Re: T-5 Wiring Trionics, damiens, Tue, 19 Dec 2006 09:49:15 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Do you have the electrical specs which the speed signal needs to work as an input signal for the 9000 Ecu. A wheel sensor output with a frequency devider/multiplier circuit should be able to provide an acceptable signal.
does the ECU get its signal directly from the generator in the transmission or indirectly after the it passes through some of the speedometer circuitry?
I am attempting to put a 9-5 Transmission in My 9000 because the position of the drive output is about one inch above where the 9000 box puts them. (the bell housing clocks the differential up on the 9-5 compared to the 9000) With the 9000 seriously lowered the drive axles are at a pretty steep angle, This robs power and puts more stress on the CV joints ect...
