Not yet. I am working to my A+P. Also studying for a flight engineers rating on the L-1049*/L-1649-A.
Going to be sending 6 engines to Cal. for overhaul at $180,000.00 per. So I should not feel too bad about putting a little money in my C900T. If you want to see a cool forced induction system you should see what is on those engines. A carb about as big as a C90016V valve cover, 2 stage superchargers with power recovery turbines on each ext. manafold (3 in all per engine). A power recovery turbine is like a turbo in that it has a trubine in the ext. but the power from the turbines are geared right into the crank shaft. The 3 turbines are good for 400hp at take off(and good for shooting fire out the ext. Looks COOL at night). There is a Surry ignition analyzer built into the Flight Engineers panel (but no boost gauge). You can see what each coil(there are 18 of them per engine and 36 plugs. Trust me I have changed them. Oh there are 18 cylinders in 2 banks one in front of the other) and see each plug also or look at banks or the hole engine. I guess I am way off topic but when I start talking about aircraft I get carried away. Sorry.
