I was in a 900 that rolled at least that much! The sheet metal did not tear off! I simply wondered if the car would have been better with a beam in the rear! I was rammed from the rear sitting n my 87 rec convertible a couple of years ago, and the car held beautifully. I think it is importatnt to be realistic, and not simplyget passionate defend a design which could have been safer. For example, my sonett trunk floor is rusted,so it got me to thinking...With the common rot in the chasis of these cars, What happens if a large caddy or worst an SUV comes ramming from the rear? It is you, the plastic, and the roll bar! If perhaps some metal structure was made in the rear, at least they would be some defense! Now I like the Sonett, yet why not place the fiberglass over a safer metal cage?
