Thank you very much... After reading your post, I think I may chuck the idea of the rear rollcage (in the tunk area) I thought of actually making a square shaped cage that would brace the rear fiberglass, yet I have not any sure idea if that would affect the rest of the car( weight ratio, safety, etc... As for the doors, I was planning on fabricating a thick iron brace with very thick heavy cross bar within the the door itself. and placing solid tubing in the B pillar as well as in the rocker areas. But as Jim had mentioned, I will assess the rust, for I know the rockers are rusty. Now, only if I can find pictures of that 73/74 safety system. In the April issue of Practical Classics( a btitish restoration magazine) is a feature of a 92B!, (I'm restoring a 93) As I finished drooling over the 92b photos and turned the page, I saw a lotus that was restored and and viewing the restoration work, carried to light the chasis (there was nothing but round tubes!! (Tubular chasis) which were rusted!! Talk about deathtrap!! Thank you Spiv...always enjoy your caring replies
