lorenzini is one of my former restorations shops for Italian cars, i did purchase the sonett from gary phillips and he made a valiant effort in repairing the car but most of the woek that he did had to be done over, radiator leaked, gas tank leaked brake hydrailics leaked, motor froze up due to foreign matter in the oil from severly worn balance shaft bearings heads had to have new guidess valves springs wiring was in shambles instruments did not work door locks were frozed up window mechanism were frozen up wiper motor did not work stalk switched were defective rust repairs were done over as the welds were not good wiring was fused togeather under the dash 50 amp fuses in every position i transported it from Texas, did the title rearch for licensing as it came with only a bill of sale and licensing a car in california from out of state with only a bill of sale is quite difficult. all of the work was not done by myself as i had much outside help in completing the car, bought all the best stuff and all the verbage is quite true, it is not a show car it was never intended to be a show car--i know show cars quite well and you start from the beginning to make it such. should anyone like to visit the car i will show all of the receipts and go over every single part with them. the air conditioning uprgade alone was over 1000 bucks
