I can understand your wife loving the Saab. I have 3, an '87 9000S with
189000, a '94 9000CSET, and a '96 9000S with 96,000.
All have been great cars. The '87 was essentially trouble free until around
180000 when the AC compressor went and then around 186000, the heater
developed a very minor steam leak but without the AC it fogs the windshield.

Now for your questions, you can get the headliner material at Sportscar
Service Center in Wilmington, DE. I think I paid around $25 for the fabric
and then around $10 for 3M spray adhesive. I have a deal for you though.
Why don't you buy my '87 9000S for $500, then you'll have a source of good
parts for your car, new headliner included! I still drive the car enough to
keep it roadworthy. I had just put new tires and breaks on it just before I
bought the '94 so you'd get a lot for a small investment. Just a thought.
Everything other than the AC compressor works.

Regards,
Jerry
