SAAB has hovered around 185hp for years and years in the 2.0l engine, while other manufacturers have steadily increased hp...so why the big fuss now? SAAB will come out with a Viggen replacement and I bet they will steadily increase the hp in the newer engines, just as they have with the 2.3l engines and the 2.0l engines lately. I don't think they've let their performance market down, in fact I think they're getting SAABs back to great handling cars (relatively speaking, you have to admit, the current 9-3 ain't riding on rails like the C900 does) as they used to be. I still don't understand why most people are bashing these cars without driving them...only relying on paper figures and articles. We all know if that's all we paid attention to, we probably wouldn't have bought the SAAB we have.
