A '98 cse manual (aero engine and suspension) and a 9-5se v6.
We found ourselves in a similar situation to yours. We first owned the 9-5se, and needed to replace our second vehicle. The search for a another Saab yielded a low mile '98. The value was too good to turn down, price verses mileage, verses longevitiy.
Other's comments are right in line. The 9-5 has more of a feel of driving in luxury. The v6 has gobs of low end, off the line torque. The car rides smoother and is faster than most other 4 door sedans.
The 9k is very, very fast and handles like a sports car. It won't beat anything off the line, but once the turbo spools up, forget about it. The 9k inspires you and you feel excited and eager to drive it.
My question is if a 9-5 aero will yield the same sort of driving experience?
