Test the fuel pump by lightly tapping the plastic seal of the pump while someone else cranks the engine. Those pump armatures can get stuck at a "dead" spot. Remove the fuel sender and look at the bottom of the tank for a "water bubble".You may also have an internal split hose in the pump holder inside the tank. Check fuel pressure at the fuel rail
