Was driving on highway when the car stutters to a stop, like the gas had run out. The low fuel warning light had been blinking on/off on the corners, but it was hardly low. Pull off on side of the road, restart the car, drive a hundred feet or so, and car dies again. Eventually make it to a gas station less than a mile away after starting/stalling numerous times. Fill up the tank, but only put 14 GAL in. Car ran fine after filling it up.
Is this the fault of a prepump? Did the 91 have a prepump? What is a part number for it?
