I have to admit I'm a bit lost here...
Having had your box installed, I can vouch for the fact that it should give a significant increase. You should have 20-21 PSI max, and above 15 PSI even @ 5500 rpm... so something definetely isn't working here...
I agree with Mathias that 1) leaky hoses and 2) bypassvalve are suspected culprits here.
How about adaptation? It will take some adaptation for the software to work properly.
Also, as Mathias said, check base boost. I didn't see "much" base boost change with the new system (or the guys installing it made an adjustment, not sure). Usually, though, base boost will change (decrease) when a more free-flowing system is installed. You should have 0.45+- 0.03 bar. It's important to check this as an incorrect base boost can give weird symptoms sometimes...
I agree with Mathias once again that the plugs should be fine. I did not adjust my plugs once the BPC problem was sorted, and I had very nice, very high and very stable boost the last days before I sent the box to you...
How high revs did you try the TAQ box at? It does have a built-in rather slow boost build-up made to save the transmission. I don't think max boost will is achieved before 3500m if I remember correctly. It does not build up boost in the same way as a standard box at higher amplitude.
My advice is to take the car out for a real "thrashing" at night to 1) get a real adaptation done and 2) explore the boost in different gears and revs.
If things don't improve, then you need to seriously check your vacuum hoses.
Let us know how it works out!
