but I forgot to mention that my idle is different with the TAQ. That
is, it doesn't seem to settle down to its' normal idle (-1000 rpm).
With the TAQ it drops to 1600 and stays there for about 15-20 sec.
before it drops to 1000. Is this normal? Anyway, if I put the new BPC valve on, there's no difference between boost pressures with the TAQ
and the original. With the faulty BPC I get wild but vascillating
boost, 10-21 psi. I guess I'm making progress, though - it sounds
really nice! But seriously, do you think I should set the plugs
differently from their present .965 mm? I noticed that when I
narrowed the gap to their present case, it cleared the high
frequency pressure fluctuations, but it also seemed to decrease
the boost I was getting. Perhaps this is a case for Dr. Boost!
