Bob,
I definetely have to agree with Mathias on that one... That TAQ unit is (as far as I know, and I've done at least a bit of research) one of THE best Trionic upgrades that money can buy.
All boost problems will be accentuated by increasing boost levels. Judging by the weird WOT-back off-WOT= full boost symptom, there's a leak somewhere that can't hold the boost but momentarily. When you're at WOT and boost is building up (remember that boost build-up is kinda' slow in the TAQ box, which is exactly the way it should be) it will probably start leaking without you really noticing it. But then when you back of @ 3000+ rpm and give WOT again, the SW will want to give you full boost at once, but then the leaking part can't hold it for more than a fraction.
BTW, are the BPC hoses all original length? You didn't shorten them or anything? Just checking...
Didn't you just change the bypass-valve? Is the "new" one working properly?
Have you checked Quasi's site? Doesn't he have all the hoses marked in colors?
How about the intercooler hoses? They may have been damaged by your excessive overboosting before...
Just a sleepy madman's thoughts before bedtime...
