it seems to be right on - 7 psi, which is about .48 bar. I put the
new BPC valve back in and went for a highway spin. It seems to
be running better and the idle thing has disappeared. Well,
almost disappeared - it still takes a second or two for the idle
to drop completely down to 1000. Boost pressures in 3rd and
4th seem to average around 14-15 psi @ 3000 rpm. If I give it
wot, let off the gas, then give it wot, again, I can get the boost
close to 20 psi, then it'll drop back down to about 13-14 psi.
It does seem to perform better in 5th. I was expecting to experience the torque steer in 3rd that Karl had, but not so. Anyway, I think I'm close and probably only need to do a little more tweaking. I'll keep you guys posted. And tell the guys at JT that the downpipe has received a lot of acclaim for workmanship quality, from mechanics who have seen it.
