4 Saabs in the driveway. Each in need of a cash infusion, but at 115K, 167K, 175K and 197K this is OK, and the money required isn't huge. It's all mostly wear/age related plus a bit of normal maintenance. Much cheaper than getting something newer that I'd have to learn to work on.
A biz friend of mine in Colorado also believes in old school cars. Her daily drivers are 2 MG-Bs, a Mustang convertible and a big old Caddy convertible. She used to have a modern Mini, but not sure if she still has it. She can do all her own work and like cars that can be fixed.
