I agree. We had an Odyssey back when the kids were little. It quickly became one of my favorite vehicles. It just did so many things well, and it drove like a big Accord.
In fact, we're considering a new Odyssey to replace the Escape when the lease is up. Even though the kids are teenagers, we go on plenty of trips together and there are few other vehicles that do it as comfortably as a minivan. And we really need more room to haul our two big dogs -- the low liftover height compared to an SUV is a real advantage.
Also, resale values on Odysseys (and Siennas) are strong. I would definitely take a look.
