The relatively higher pressure in the exhaust manifold pre turbine can lead to wrong readings from the WbO2 Most would overheat if placed that close to the cylinder. If you really want 1/8" opentip thermocouples can be placed the same distance from the head. The problem with the fast reading open tip is that they will not last long. Closed tip can be used but will read quite slow. More of an average. Temps are mainly usable for steady state tuning on the dyno at a single load cell.
Wb02 is really all you need. Place it down by the oil filter horizontally.
Here is a pic of where to place the temp sensor. Make sure it is centered on the divider and down a little bit. Remove it when done tuning. FOr quick use on the dyno I have drilled a 1/8" hole and simply slipped in the probe. Since the Stainless expands more they lock in place during tuning. Then after cooling slide out and get tig welded in place. Never had an issue and takes 15 min max.
