All depending on where the cam shafts were timed before and how precise the mechanic timed the cam shaft again, it might alter the engine sound and roughness.
Timing belt on the Saab V6 is a very strange contraption with many different adjusting possibilities.
The rear bank cam shafts can be timed to the front bank cam shafts and the rear/front banks can be timed differently to the crank shaft. So it all comes down to how precise all these different shafts was timed and adjusted.
A little bit behind or a little bit ahead might alter the "feel" of the engine as far as roughness goes.
Also, the right motor mount is a weak spot on the 9-5 and maybe if it is close to failing and since it has to be removed when doing the timing belt, it could be more engine vibrations then before?
