Been totaling up all the work that I know of. If I end up doing it all at the dealer it could be $8000. Lots I haven't mentioned though the transmission was the big thing. The remaining things I am certain need fixing to bring the car up to a "clean" car category will probably be $5000 if I get them all done at the dealer, which I won't. But the dealer will have to do the tranny and that is $3000+.
I am beginning to see why the service writer said she wouldn't give more than $2000 for the car. She was the only one that had real experience in totaling up the costs of all these repairs.
