I presume that you have checked the spare tire well (passenger side) to see if there is a factoryconnector. I didn't think our 2005 had one since they were deleted for 2004? but sure enough, it was there - perhaps Canuck specs still had them?. I bought a Saab OE harness to connect in off one of the site sponsers and it works like a charm. No bulb trouble light illuminated on the dashboard which could happen if you splice in. A draw-tite hitch works really well - a bit difficult to get the mounting bolts in though and the included hitch bar was a bit too short for comfort. Luckily I had an older hitch bar that was a bit longer that fit perfectly.
