Stock 2.0T was 250hp/260trq. But like you two mention Saab was amoung the first to sell turbo-4 mass produced and unmatchable torque that is not even matched today by dohc 3.6L V6 which the Japanese are relying on, reluctant to offer a 2.0T.
I really surprised at some of the post looking at other engine alternatives when my Verano Turbo with 6-speed is getting 39+ mpg on a tank on heavy 18" wheels with big 235mm rubber. I think you'll understand again when you feel the turbo torque.
