Broken stud : Only 1 broke. I am now missing 1 fixation point.
Epoxy : Corrections. I cannot find information about the material. Not sure about epoxy. I used 3M 08889. Textured paint applied inside the wheel well (after removal of the liner). I now have a grey inner well, hidden under the liner. I used it to minimize the rubbing effect from the liner (worst if you add accumulation of sand).
Rubbing : This is my second 9-5. First one suffered from rubbing. I did not wanted to repeat, so I applied 3M to all four fenders "legs".
Dirt accumulation : If the paint protection is flawless, even the long exposure to humidity will not cause rust. An flaw in the pain is required for the moisture to attack and corrode the steel.
Living in Quebec, I know what you are talking about. Winter is coming. Salt, abrasive sand etc. Rust protection is a must.
