The few times I bought a car I thought, maybe I can fix it up and sell it, it turned out that I barely broke even on the parts I put in it. Forget about the labor.

I'm lousy at selling crap and ends up either fixing everything that I find or disclosing what's wrong which in both ways leaves very little profit left.

It amazes me some of the car sales people who can sell these cars I get in a few month later after a customer bought it and it needs a load of things, all that obviously was present when it was sold.
