I would say parts availability on a 9-5 is close to "as good as it gets" for an orphan vehicle. This translates in "excellent" when you compare it to any 10 yr + old car. Mercedes used to have an incredible array of original vintage parts but I think they have slipped back over the years. If you have the space, parts vehicles are cheaper than the salt of the earth.
