Yesterday morning was when I did the diagnostics in the trunk looking for cause of the right tail light issue.
Yesterday afternoon we drove the 9-5 while doing grocery shopping at two different stores. Turn signals worked normal.
I leave for work this morning and I get the rapid blinking when ever I activate the signal for a right hand turn. Rats, a bulb must have failed.
I get home from work tonight, check for the inoperative lamp, it is the right-rear turn signal lamp. Remove the lamp from the lamp board, the filament looks fine. Check the filament with a meter and it is fine, no issues.
So tomorrow I will be driving the Viggen to work and will then be removing the right side trunk liner after work looking for significant abrasion to the wiring harness.
