Say no to Volvo... I special ordered a brand new 2020 S60 and Volvo ended up buying it back last month due to vibration at highway speeds they couldn't resolve. And, I drove several new S60s and S90s and it appeared that they all had vibration issues. I think there is an issue with their platform, it's a relatively common issue on the Volvo sites. Some blame the AWD system, but mine was FWD and I stil had the problem.
I just moved in on a lightly used 19 Mercedes CLS 450 which scares me from a long-term reliability standpoint (an I6 turbo with a 48v mild hybrid system... yikes), but my goodness is it a lovely driving car and quite the looker. The CPO warranty is pretty good though, 5yr/unlimited mileage and I could extend it out another two years to a total of 7yr/unlimited mileage. A good deal for someone like me who in a normal year will do 20k miles.
