Well, it started at about 68mph and would progressively increase through the 70s. Mine was a T5 Inscription FWD trim, it had 19" wheels with Pirelli tires, but the tires did not have the foam inserts which many think causes the problem.
They balanced the wheels and swapped tires several times, replaced the passenger side axle twice, and it never was quite right.
I had previous gen S60s as loaners a few times and those never had any type of vibration issues. I test drove three different 20 S90s as well and those all didn't feel quite right. My 9-5 doesn't have perfect balance on the wheels, but it's not nearly as noticeable as it was on my S60.
It's a shame because I really did like the S60, it was an excellent product. Definitely go drive one and see if it's something you notice, the used 19s and 20s can be had for pretty good prices.
