I'd buy a few fuel filters and replace them serially, over the next 12 months, maybe at 4 month intervals. I think a basic, plug in diagnostic tool could clear any codes and yes, I've had one for a long time and I clear codes here and there without even giving it much thought - so, I guess that may be necessary (I don't know) to get 100% function from the throttle body.

I would also make certain the crankcase ventilation system has been upgraded. Early versions of this system contributed to the motor oil getting coked up (sludge) and you may wanna read the tutorials here on dropping the pan and cleaning accumulated stuff out of the pan. Unless you are quite certain this matter has been attended to previously.
