Have 05 95 Aero since 2016 just now getting around to tinkering with sound system. Long story short - discovered that am getting No Sound from rear speakers and barely audible sound from front door speakers, others working fine. Know about preset sound level and have it set at "25" for start level which did improve sound but still have lame speakers. Thinking that it is unlikely that four speakers would go bad at same time - removed front doors and examined speakers; they look good.

Thinking that amplifier could be bad or connections to it weak. Have read thru many of old posts on HK stereo here but didn't find any that talked about half-dead amps? Question I have is - do these HK amplifiers go bad, causing lost multiple speaker sound? Can you get weak speaker connections at amp over time?

See amps for sale on ebay and wondering what odds are this could be the cure?
